During that time I had the opportunity to attend training as part of the Academic Research Methodology for Master’s Student course at Coventry University. The training was designed to improve the skills of researchers. We studied for more than 1000 hours. 

On the part of the assignment of reviewing the individual learner, I read it carefully assignments are as in below context which was reviewed by Shau Lin- one of the participants in this class of research. I completed my assignment as follows; 

Does international investment law pose a constraint or a threat to Indonesia’s regulatory rights? Before I explain the hypothesis, I would like to point out that international investment law does not apply in the state of Indonesia. However, international investment law will transfer from international investment law to national law. The international investment law will approve the national law of each country. International investment law is not known in Indonesia. According to Article 1 №1 of the Investment Law №25/2007, investment is all forms of investment activities, i.e. both domestic and foreign investments made in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The Investment Law regulates the business areas that are eligible for investment review. The potential of foreign investors’ lawsuit behind Indonesia’s bilateral investment treaty was agreed upon at the 2013 IMF and World Bank annual meeting in Bali, Indonesia. There is a sixth bilateral investment treaty to protect Singaporean investments made in Indonesia. The signing of the Indonesia-Singapore bilateral investment agreement (BIT) by Singapore, they also signed investment cooperation with investment plans in various sectors such as industry 4.0, travel, fintech, and education. The signing of Indonesia-Singapore is seen as a kind of setback to the policies taken by the Indonesian government to review and stop enforcement until 2013. 63 treaties Indonesia has signed from the 1960s until 2013. The impact of the treaty, Indonesia has at least 8 experience cases of foreign investors against Indonesia with the value of claims of compensation from foreign investors to billions of dollars. The investors are called Rafat Ali Rizvi (Indonesia-UK), Churchill Mining (Indonesia-UK), Newmont (Indonesia-Bear Indonesia-Netherlands), India Metal Ferro Alloys (Indonesia-India), and Oleovest Ltd. (Indonesia-Singapore). The potential of the Indonesian case, if the lawsuits are not dropped, extends to various sectors such as healthcare, where some countries have experienced lawsuits from foreign investors related to health and pharmaceutical issues. What should be the path and the road? Indonesia needs to ensure transparency and give the Indonesian people the right to know the information about international investment agreements. This should give foreign investors and the Indonesian people a sense of justice. The author has elaborated on whether the investment law threatens the rights of constitutional rights of the country? After reading the above points, one can conclude that the state is not restricting and threatening the rights, but there is a commitment to make a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled. Shaun Leigh, my classmate, responded to my assignment review; #1. Did the learner clearly and coherently introduce the research proposal with a strong rationale for its importance? It sounds more like an opinion than a proposal based on other research. I would suggest researching the impact of the laws on something specific, as this is too broad at the moment, but it is interesting to read. #2. Has the learner comprehensively analyzed the internal and external factors relevant to their problem? It seems that you have not considered the research in this area as you seem to lack clarity. I would try to focus more on one thing as it seems difficult to gain insight from this. Has the learner presented a realistic strategy for conducting research to achieve their research objectives? You have not outlined what method you would use to find out the information you need, for example, qualitative or quantitative data.
